The BROTEK MAKE Smart Vibrating Tuning Fork

piezoelectric crystal to excite the fork body into a resonance state. When the
fork contacts the material, the resonance frequency changes significantly,
allowing the internal electronic unit to detect the frequency and convert it
into a relay or PNP switch output.
